A/Prof Graham and Marin Suzuki have regularly travelled to Nepal, Cambodia, the Solomon Islands, and Kiribati to work alongside, educate, and learn from local surgeons, registrars, and hand therapists. They feel privileged and humbled to collaborate with such dedicated colleagues, united by the shared goal of improving hand surgery and hand therapy globally. The team also provides ongoing education and support through regular Zoom teaching sessions and WhatsApp-based case discussions.
Dr Graham currently serves on the Orthopaedic Outreach Board and is Chair of the Australian Hand Surgery Society (AHSS) Overseas Projects Committee.
In recognition of his ongoing commitment to outreach and humanitarian work, Dr Graham was awarded the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA) Humanitarian Award in 2025.
